No wonder that you were speachless - this is great light here. Catching such distinctive rays of light always is an amazing thing. You handled the exposure pretty well here, which never is easy in such harsh lighting conditions. Overall I like the almost monochromatic look of the trees. This makes the bark look very interesting and one concentrates more on the structure than on the colors. There's one little thing that I would consider reworking. The very left side gets a little bright and the eye might be tempted to get out there while you would rather want the focus to stay inside the image. I would darken the left side and the upper left corner a bit to make that happen. If you're a good cloner you could also address that diagonal dark branch in the upper left corner. This would simplify the scene even better and people will concentrate on the important part here - the awesome rays. Excellent shot ... keep it up.
